The Owner
You're the one your dog sees every day. If you don't learn the method, nothing sticks. That's why I train you, not just your dog.
I'm a former Singapore Police K9 handler. My method comes from a forty-year family legacy of training the dogs that protect Singapore.

I started in the K-9 Unit through National Service — drafted into the Home Team, where I became a Narcotic Detector Dog handler. My uncle, who'd trained Singapore Police K9s and their handlers for 40+ years, taught me everything.
No treats. Verbal praise and a pat. That's it. He taught me how to read a dog — their energy, their intentions, their state of mind — long before they show it in their behaviour.
After I left the K-9 Unit, I brought those same principles into family homes. The dog training that keeps a police dog focused in a public crowd is the same training that keeps your dog calm at the lift door — including the obedience work most people start with.
For 40+ years, my uncle trained Police K9s and their handlers in Singapore. The methods he passed down — respect, clear communication, no treats — work on a narcotic detector dog, and they work on a Golden Retriever in a HDB flat.
That's the inheritance. Not a certificate. A living tradition.
The method works the same on a young puppy and a grown dog. On a working breed or a family pet. Because it's not really about the dog.

The right collar and lead mean the difference between fighting your dog and communicating with them. Consistent gear is part of consistent training.
See the gear & pricesEvery breed, every temperament, every age — the same principles work, once the owner and the gear are right.
I once worked with an extremely leash-reactive dog — and a powerful puller. His owner had tried training elsewhere. Nothing worked.
I taught the owner the system I've built — the same principles I used handling Police K9s. Today they walk off-leash, anywhere, any time.
One client's story, shared with their permission. Every dog is different — results depend on the owner's consistency, and no outcome is guaranteed. What's consistent is the approach: I teach the human, not just the dog.
